The aluminum market in Ukraine has shown steady growth and development in recent years. This is not surprising, as aluminum is a lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant material with wide applications in various industries.
According to the Ukrainian Association of Aluminum Producers, the production of this metal in Ukraine is increasing every year. For example, from 2017 to 2020, production increased by almost 25%. According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, aluminum production in the country increased by 4.4% in 2021 compared to 2020, reaching 244 thousand tons. This growth is due to the development of domestic aluminum product manufacturers and the implementation of new technologies that can increase productivity and efficiency.
After the end of the war, when the reconstruction of Ukraine begins, the demand for aluminum products will increase even more because aluminum has wide applications in the construction industry. It is used to manufacture window frames, building facades, frames, and other structures, as its use reduces the weight of structures and increases their durability during operation.
Additionally, during the recovery period, the popularity of aluminum in the electrical industry will significantly grow, as the material is used to manufacture conductors, cables, etc.
